Brief overview:

The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a vocational assessor.

The level 3 assessing training teaches you how to prepare, plan, understand and evaluate the assessment process.

We specialise in the hair and beauty sector but this qualification covers assessment of VTCT courses for any subject.

Our academy has access to students at various times of the year for you to observe and assess. We can also come to your workplace to assess you there (how handy!)

Units covered:

  • UV30563 Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
  • UV30566Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
  • UV30564 Assess occupational competence in the work environment

Education & Training

Formally A1 Assessors award; the course is two initial days training, with a return for assessment on NVQ students. EV Assessment day also required.

You will need a USB, folder and portfolio. Registration and exam fees included. Uniform required at all times.
